Tribe Salon Edition 8 is located in the lanes behind the historic Sydney Customs House.
A two-storey mirrored wall provides a sense of theatre as staff and patrons ascend and descend the stairs between the two-level salon and retail spaces while also reflecting the historic sandstone building and activity of the laneway outside.
The high-gloss soft pink panelled ceiling within the upper salon reflects the activity visible from the lane below while enabling concealed access to the many services within the ceiling void. This design element has been included and interpreted in numerous Tribe Salons, tailored to suit the specific context and concept for each space.
